4. AI Feature Usage (Claude)

When you use our AI-powered features, we send your prompt and minimal recipe context to Anthropic's Claude API.

Data sent to Anthropic: Your prompt text, basic recipe structure (ingredients and weights only)

Data NOT sent: Account information, email address, personal recipe names, or user identifiers

We do not store or log AI prompts or responses in our application.

Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and may retain prompts for safety and improvement purposes.

5. Technical & Analytics Data

• IP address, browser type, device info

• Feature usage, pages visited, session timing

• Anonymous session IDs

Data Retention Periods

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

• Account Data: While your account is active + 30 days after deletion request

• Recipe & Ingredient Data: Deleted immediately upon account deletion or user request

• Anonymous Session Data: 30 days maximum

• Payment Records: 7 years (Swedish accounting law requirement)

• System Logs: 90 days for security and debugging purposes

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside the EU/EEA by our service providers:

• Microsoft Azure: EU data centers with European Commission adequacy decision

• Stripe (Payments): Operates under adequacy decision framework

• Anthropic (AI): US-based, protected by standard contractual clauses and appropriate safeguards

• Legitimate interest: Debugging, fraud prevention
